Just Too Cute for Words!!

Wow! This year went fast! We can't believe she's already turning one!

We've been so blessed with this beautiful child. She's been the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without her -- very hard to imagine our lives before she came into them. Talk about fulfillment! And grandparenthood is amazing. It should have come first!

She's been such a good baby from the day they brought her home from the hospital. Never fussy, easily consoled, always happy, always smiling (even when she's been sick & running a temp). She plays for hours by herself with her toys; very contented. Her personality is so sweet. Right now, she's a little shy around strangers, a phase she's going through. And I absolutely LOVE the silly faces she makes when she's "faking" trying to cry (if something doesn't suit her fancy) -- the scrunched up nose and eyes, and the pout. It's hilarious! And because we laugh, her pouting doesn't last and then she starts laughing, too.

Thank you God for our blessings with this beautiful child.
